Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) was established by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi in May 2013 (Delhi Act 09 of 2012), evolving from Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (1998). It is India's first women's technical university under Delhi Government, NAAC A+ accredited, located at Kashmere Gate. NIRF Engineering 2025 places it in the 201–300 band.
