Overview
J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad is a Haryana State Government University established by Act No. 21 of 2009 (formerly YMCA University of Science and Technology). It began in 1969 as the YMCA Institute of Engineering (Indo-German project) and was renamed after Jagadish Chandra Bose in 2018. The university offers engineering, sciences, management and humanities programmes, holds UGC 12(B) status, and affiliates engineering colleges in Faridabad and Palwal districts.
