How Setu Ranking works
Our default criteria and weights for career-first college rankings. Individual sectors may override weights (for example, Medical may emphasize accreditation).
Criteria & default weights
| Criterion | Weight | What we measure |

| Placements | 30% | Median packages, placement rate, recruiter quality, and internship outcomes. |
| Faculty Quality | 20% | Faculty credentials, student–faculty ratio, and teaching reputation. |
| Infrastructure | 15% | Labs, libraries, hostels, digital resources, and campus facilities. |
| Accreditation | 15% | NAAC/NBA/NMC and other statutory approvals relevant to the sector. |
| Student Reviews | 10% | Aggregated student and parent feedback on academics and campus life. |
| Alumni Outcomes | 10% | Career progression, entrepreneurship, and higher-studies outcomes. |
